An Overall Update: Committee Change, Black Belt Grading and End of Year for MUKC

November 2023

Flowers are in full bloom, evenings stretch longer and mornings are not as cold and unbearable anymore, what a relief! Somehow 2023 is quickly coming to an end.

Melbourne University Karate Club (MUKC) has had a smashing year. As the lockdowns of COVID-19 recede into the past, MUKC has regained its footing and are prepared to kick their way into a new year.

This year has seen a magnificent array of events for MUKC members: The annual Easter camp, hikes, clubs dinners, two black belt 2nd Dan gradings, Lion Bushido Karate Tournament and most recently, our end of year dinner.

At this years AGM has come and gone, a blend of old and new committee members begin their work to help organise and run the club for 2023-2024. The new committee send a big thank you to the past committee members and express their excitement to lead MUKC into 2024.
